A fixed date had been set by the UIDAI for updating Aadhaar cards. Users had to keep their documents up-to-date on the Internet. In line with this, UIDAI has also provided a free service where users can upload documents online and update their Aadhaar for free. It was originally scheduled for this by 14 September 2024. With regard to that UIDAI has now extended the last date. This information has come from UIDAI on X (formerly Twitter).
UIDAI told users that it has given time till December 23, 2024, for a free online document upload facility. Users can use this service by going to a ‘MyAadhaar’ portal. UIDAI requested the public to make sure that their documents are updated. In order to modify your Aadhaar card, visit the official website. Your mobile number must be linked with your Aadhaar number, though, while doing this.
